3. TA Ranch - Buffalo, WY

TA Ranch is an active cattle ranch located in Buffalo, WY with beautiful vies of the Big Horn Mountains. They offer a customized experience for their guests to help bring your vision to life. It's the perfect place to host your destination wedding. You have two options when you book the venue for your locations: The Cookhouse and The Roadhouse.

 

The Cookhouse is perfect for the small and intimate weddings with accomodations up to 100 guests. It's a historic building that gives that 1880s vibe and is available year round. The Roadhouse is an outdoor covered pavilion that can accomodate up to 400 guests. It's perfect for those grand weddings. It also includes a firepit and yard games. For weddings larger than 200 guests, there will be a fee.

 

Both locations include the ceremony site, tables, linens, and chairs. Your ceremony site can be customized to fit your vision. With. 8,000 acres to choose from it's up to you to find the perfect place to exchange your vows, whether it's an intimate setting or grand wedding. Rental options are available for florals and decor if you don't want to hassle with it. Set up of the florals and decor are included in the rental option. You just need to choose which style you like best. Farm scratch meals are catered for you wedding reception and/or rehearsal dinner. 6. Snake River Ranch - Wilson, WY

Snake River Ranch borders the Grand Teton National Park with open sweeping views of the mountains. The Snake River borders the property setting it in the perfect atmosphere for your wedding. The ranch is conveniently located near the Teton Village and twelve miles Northwest of Jackson.

 

Snake River Ranch offers a variety of ceremony site options for you to exchange your vows. From the banks of the Snake River, in the quiet of an aspen grove, or the peacefulness of an open meadow with a mountain backdrop, Snake River Ranch can make your ceremony dreams come true. With accomodations for up to 300 guests it's the perfect venue for large or intimate weddings.

 

Snake River Ranch does require you to have a wedding planner. The ranch only provides the location for your event. All other amenities are for you or your wedding planner to coordinate. Parking space is limited at the venue so all guests must be shuttled in by outside vendors. In case of inclement weather some couples use weather predictions to adjust their outdoor ceremony. You can't reschedule your date and no refunds are provided. Teton county requires all amplified noise to end at 9:59pm. This is when your wedding day ends and you have to say goodbye.

 

Snake River Ranch provides the perfect wedding day setting for the outdoor couple that wants those sweeping mountain views. 7. Deerwood Ranch - Laramie, WY

Deerwood Ranch lies on a beautiful 4,700 acres within the Centennial Valley. Nestled between the Snowy Mountains and the Sheep Mountains you'll have sweeping views that will take your breath away! The Middle Fork River runs directly through the ranch helping to grow lush green pasutres where wild Wyoming horses roam the property and create that unique western charm.

 

Deerwood Ranch offers every amenity that you will need for your wedding from tables, chairs, a reception hall, 2 guest rooms, a bridal suite, and more. The ranch offers a full weekend package that allows you to use their space from Friday at 9:00am through Sunday at 4:00pm. This allows you plenty of time to decorate your space and enjoy the property. You are in charge of decorations/set up, catering, music, alcohol, clean up, etc

8. Grand Teton National Park - Jackson Hole, WY

If you're a lover of the great outdoors and that fresh mountain air, Grand Teton National Park boasts the perfect place to exchange your vows. With limited permits being being accepted to keep the environment and wildlife in mind, you'll want to be on top of applying for your permit quickly. The park only accomodates small, intimate, undecorated ceremonies. You can apply for your ceremony site permit up to a year in advance and will be notified of your permit being accepted no less than 30 days before your ceremony. A non-refundable cost of $200 is required at the time of applying.

 

There are two type of wedding special use permits that you can apply for:

1. Reserved Site-Specific Ceremony Permits

2. Small Dispersed Ceremony Permits

 

Reserved site-specific ceremony permits are limited to 1 permit per location per day with a total of 60 allowed in each location per year. Ceremonies are limited to two hours with a set start time and end time.

 

Group size includes the ‘wedding party’, wedding guests including children, officiant, and photographer(s).

There are 6 site-specific ceremony locations that may be applied for:

1. Colter Bay Swim Beach – Group size limit of 40 people (Full for 2024)

2. Schwabacher Landing – Group size limit of 25 people (Full for 2024)

3. Mormon Row (North or South) – Group size limit of 40 people (North) or 25 people (South)

4. Mountain View Turnout – Group size limit of 25 people

5. Glacier View Turnout – Group size limit of 25 people

6. Snake River Overlook – Group size limit of 25 people

 

Small dispersed ceremony permits are limited to twelve or less people including all guests and vendors. Only one permit will be issued per location per day. A location may not be permitted if the activity will interfere with or prevent general visitor use or cause resource damage. Ceremony times are limited to one hour maximum with a specific start time and end time.

Applicant must provide a location description with coordinates and/or a satellite view map of the requested location.

Prohibited locations include:

1. Reserved Site-Specific Ceremony locations during Friday, May 10, 2024 to Sunday, October 20, 2024

2. The paved trails within and surrounding the Jenny Lake Visitor Plaza at South Jenny Lake, Jenny Lake Trail, and Jenny Lake Overlook

3. Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point

4. String Lake developed area and trail

5. Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve

6. Concessioner land assignments (exception for weddings sold/catered by concessioners in assigned facilities in accordance with their contract)

7. Park partner facilities (e.g., Murie Ranch, Teton Science School)

8. Within proximity of places where weddings are being managed by a chapel or concessioner (e.g., the Chapel of the Transfiguration)

9. Park cemeteries

10. If a location is behind a gate, the permittee may have walking access but not vehicle access

11. Areas where there is high visitation during the requested period or potential for resource damage
