Chris+Drea Camelot Ranch Wedding Billings, MT
Chris and Drea both live in Arizona but returned to Billings, Montana to get married. Drea grew up in the Billings area and it was important for her to return to a place that has a piece of her heart. They decided to have a small and intimate wedding at the stunning Camelot Ranch in Billings. Camelot Ranch is the perfect venue for a small or big wedding. The barn is jaw-dropping when you first come up the winding gravel driveway. When you think of a classic Montana barn, Camelot Ranch comes to mind. The venue has a large getting ready area for the women in the upstairs. The guys also have a getting ready room when you first walk in to the right. The reception area can double as a backup ceremony site in case of bad weather. The reception area can be arranged in many different options depending on the size of your wedding.
The outside area of Camelot Ranch can be utilized in many ways. There's two places that are incredible for ceremony locations: one is by the pond that you'll see from the couple's photos and the other is under a beautiful mature tree in the backyard. Chris and Drea decided to get married under the tree and it was magical. It's a long walk from the barn to the ceremony site and allows you to get creative if you want to do a fun entrance. I'll never forget Chris walking down with his dog and breaking out some sweet dance moves. It was one of my favorite moments of the day! They had such a sweet ceremony that was officiated by one of their best friends. There was no short for sweet and intimate moments.
We didn't get a true golden hour sunset session on their day but we went out anyway to capture some beautiful portraits with the dramatic skies that were given. I honestly love those dramatic skies so either way I get excited for these photos. We started of in front of the barn and had fun creating some unique images with Drea's dress. Her spinning and showing off the dress to Chris was one of my personal favorite photos from their day! We also were lucky enough to have perfect reflections in the pond with Camelot Ranch in the background. These made for some dreamy photos that I'll forever be in love with as well. Chris and Drea had the sweetest wedding day at a perfect wedding venue. I'm so glad I was able to be apart of it and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
