Cameron & Whitney - Engagement Session - Milaca, Minnesota

Cameron and Whitney's engagement session poured on the magic! They decided to do it on Cameron's family's land. The river front area offered a variety of photo opportunities. With me giving them guided directions on where to go, I was able to capture some authentic candid moments as they move from location to location. The reflections in the river turned out to be some of my favorite photos from this session. It definitely helped with how natural these two were in front of the camera as i didn't have to guide them too much. I was extremely impressed when they both decided to show off their swing dancing moves in the grass field. These made for some incredible photo moments as well. But i was even more impressed with these swing skills as I myself love to swing dance given the opportunity. After the river we went up to the building site where some old rustic red barns awaited us. These old barns made for some beautiful backdrops and I was even able to get creative and photograph through one of the old barn doors as they stood inside of it. The dark background really made them pop out of the frame. I can't wait for Cameron and Whitney's big wedding day as they will be getting married at the most beautiful wedding venue out in Kalispell, Montana. Diamond B Wedding Venue offers some of the most beautiful mountain backdrops alongside their barn venue. I'm hoping to even adventure into Glacier National Park with them to utilize my landscape photography skills and capture some of the most jaw dropping wedding photos I could imagine.
